Julie Triquet started the violin at the age of three. She studied with Claude Letourneau in Quebec City and also with David Cerone and Aaron Rosand at the legendary Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. In Canada Ms Triquet held several prestigious posts: 1st violin in the Arthur-Leblanc Quartet and co-concertmistress in Les Violons du Roy. She is currently a member of I Musici de Montréal.. Notable among her recordings is her performance as soloist in a disc of Vivaldi concerti on Dorion with Les Violons du Roy.
