Sofia Gentile

Sofia Gentile obtained a bachelor's degree from the Université de Montréal where she studied with Jean-François Rivest. She also earned a Master's degree in performance from Rice University in Houston where she worked with Kathleen Winkler. As a chamber musician, she has performed in festivals such as Tanglewood Music Festival, The Music Academy of the West and Mostly Mozart in New York. For the past three years she was part of the New World Symphony in Miami. Prior to that, she was a permanent member of I Musici de Montréal.
