Catherine Arsenault, violist, started playing the violin at age seven. She received early training at Ecole Secondaire Pierre-Laporte and then moved to Florida to study at HARID Conservatory. She obtained her Master’s degree on a full scholarship at Peabody Conservatory. She also studied in Montreal under the guidance of Jutta Puchhammer and Neal Gripp. Summer festivals attended include the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, Sarasota Music Festival, Aspen Music Festival and Meadowmount Summer School of Music. Ms. Arsenault is principal viola with the Orchestre Symphonique de Trois-Rivieres, and a free-lance musician in Montreal.
